I know this is an old post, but was trying to find the same game and finding very little info. Hopefully, this will help someone else. The game you're thinking of was Mayday:Deep Space. For whatever reason, it is not longer in the app store so I couldn't find it in my past purchases.

The world created feels amazing and is a pure joy to explore. I would love to see something like this released for Oculus Quest
