Yes it's intentional. We're making a new build right now that fixes all the bugs we had!

Hi Saitoki, Thank you for playing! About your feedback:
- The raining part was intentionally black since it's a storytelling tool to imply something.
- There is a bug where if you start the game it should have started on the loading screen but the title screen not appearing until you finish the Ritsu PoV is intentional. We made sure you can load anytime through the UI at the very least. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
- The demo ending is implied in the narrative as the PoV changed by the UI and it showing the title screen for the first time.
- There is a ""DDLC"" element to the Title Screen. You kinda just missed it haha.
- The 1.7 GB is something we have to live with for this project sadly. There's a lot of audio and art assets and it's a two hour long novel for the prologue. We can try optimizing it but since we only had less than 3 weeks to start, we didn't have time for this.
We're planning to use our engine of choice for this game finally and hopefully the confusion and issues will be fixed by then!
I love this game. The vibes are so good and the violence is subtle and realistic horror of emotional abuse. I was thinking if he was based on some mythological figure or urban legend or a collection of them but there are some interesting things I noted out of him.
- The baths are similar to Kamikakushi Onsens you typically read in Japanese horror. I can't remember which one specifically, because there's so many of them in Japanese media. But it definitely has the same vibe.
- Another thing that I found interesting is the owner and how he didn't want to be here but has accepted his role. He kinda reminds me of Tofu Boy. Mostly because in some variations of the legend, eating the tofu can get you covered in mold. The hair symbolism and the main character "Cradled like a baby" was something interesting. I don't know much about Japanese Yokai or mythology since there's so many of them so I wonder if that was part of it. I also feel like the statue is so familiar but I don't remember where I saw them. I'm so mad.
- The last one being women making the soup so good is so folklore I love it.
Great job 10/10.
On a very casual playing with no time to properly go in-depth.
I think this is about a woman's regrets about not telling her true feelings to that person. And it's too late to do anything about it? And it seems like they have an image of her that is not the real her that she's in love with. And if you pursue this image, it costs the girl's life or something like that?
I replayed it again with my friend now that we're not running around doing chores!
From what we gathered, Adrian died but we don't know why. We feel like it's kinda implied that he took his own life? Because he did mention about his life being dreadfully boring if he keeps going on the road to being his father's extension/footsteps. Jules was literally his only friend that he felt connected to. He couldn't connect with anyone else. It's interesting that we know he left the country or something with his mother. From what we gathered, Jules couldn't stand his father and tried to exit and follow his dreams by going with his mother. We don't know if it's because the father invested in the half-brother or because Jules is rebelling or something by rejecting Adrian they're rejecting their father.
Now that Adrian is dead, Jules is now tethered to the place near his mansion. We guess that's where he died? Because he talks about nothing belongs to him anymore in that abandoned house. We're thinking Adrian probably died in the basement because of the trapped ending and the tempting the devil. Either way we like this game. Great job. Love it. Surprised it's not BL category. (Sorry not sorry) 8/10 fr. I just wish we can load because sometimes we miss some details and can't go back. We were trying to put the timeline together and we keep forgetting lol.

Played the game and it was fun figuring out the puzzles on our own. I like how one of the hints is not in the game itself but something you will notice as odd when you see it! Overall, it's a nice experience.
I think my only criticism was I was a little bit confused why we started the story as if we're in a loop already. I also wish that the questions at the beginning wasn't there since I didn't realize it was a hint system. I only noticed after reading Watchful Many and then asking her a question related to the topic. I wish it was optional. Watchful Many was the easiest but you get what I mean?
Great work on the game!!
I love this game. We were playing it together and we noticed when you know who's sudden change and one of my friends were lamenting their favorite is the one that got picked. We liked how there's a lot of personality and you can tell when they suddenly changed since it was out of the blue. There was a lot of context clues especially from Nia that made us go hmmmmmmm.
The Resolve ending was so sad but am I evil to say my favorite is the one where you don't give the thing? It was harrowing. Great job!!!
Ps. I love Spencer and Amber's relationship. I love them together so much :3
I like the atmosphere and writing. It reminded me of a lot of denpa games I used to play.

I was playing this game with my friends yesterday and it was fascinating to explain to them the horror of this VN and how different our opinions are! I personally enjoyed this and was all :J when I guessed you know who is about. The art is pretty and Evan is totally my type. I love games like these!
Sigh I'm weak towards endings this game has with you know what.
Jams can be tough, and it can be hard to create a complete experience on your own in such a limited time frame. We encourage utilizing pre-existing, pre-packaged assets to help supplement your development to ease the burdens of skill and time.
Note: Third party means it was not created by you, or on your behalf.
May we have clarification on this? This is how we read it:
- If we release public assets, other participants can use it. But since we made them, we do not count because it specifically states here, not created by us. That means, we would have to find a third party equivalent for a public asset we made.
Is this correct?
