Will the bonuses from the stat cookies be permanent or temporary like the potions? (all they do now is cause crashing errors)

I think it also happens when you click through stuff too quickly (i.e. auto scrolling to get through to the new stuff). Because I've had it happen in other routes.

I've been wondering, what exactly is the difference between choosing to take the pervy route and the respect route? Or does it not really have an effect on the story?
