Oh wow! I don't want to admit this, but even I haven't finished the final level haha
I'm really impressed and also super appreciative that you played through all of it! Thanks again!
Hey! I appreciate you taking the time to play the game, and leaving such detailed feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game. Yea, the idea was to make something very simple, but execute it properly. I'm not sure which version you played of the game, but the latest one that I uploaded i think 5 days ago, has a bunch of more levels, new enemies, and a new game mechanic. It was fun working on the game, but unfortunately I'm gonna leave it as it is, and move on to new experimental projects. Again, really appreciate this!
Hey everyone!
I just published a game called Blast Tournament, and I want it to be as presentable and appealing as possible, and so I've come here for you help. I want any and all opinions on how it looks and so on. Does anything look unappealing, or does is something missing? Am I missing any info in the text? What about the images? I mean, you get the idea haha

If you have the time, I would also greatly appreciate any feedback on the game as well!
Thanks in advance! I really appreciate all the help I can get!
Blast Tournament is a fast paced and intense top down shoot 'em up, in which you are given only 3 rules. Captivating retro stylised graphics with incredibly enthralling synthwave tunes make for a mesmerising flow state of gameplay.
Wipe out all enemies as you survive to progress to the next arena. If you fail, game gets reset to the first arena. In other words, you have complete it in one thrilling attempt. All or nothing!

This is one well made game! Very challenging gameplay and the progression of difficulty was just about right.
The art is great and the mechanics smooth. I really loved the way you designed the levels for each of those special abilities.
There are three things I think you could improve:
1) Keyboard button layout for people who would like to use their right hand. It was easier for me to use my right hand but at the same time hard to position it at an angle so that I could use the Z & X keys. Maybe provide the option to use the arrow keys as well?
2) Due to the fact that the player is always moving to the right, many times the coins that I collect would fly across the screen and either cover the player or just distract me; so I often lost sight of the player, which got a little frustrating in the more intense levels
3) For windows, maybe you could add an option to increase the window size, maybe just use surfaces to stretch what is displayed. Because it was often a little hard to notice the player because of it's color in relation to the background and environment
It was a fantastic game that I really enjoyed! Thanks for putting time and effort into this, it really is something great!
