Honestly, on one hand it sucks that the reception of the newest update was such a downer on you guys.

On the other hand, I can understand the pain of the people - since the beginning, every single time you guys made a big update, the result was a lot of great, high quality content.

Not only that, but I noticed that there was a miscommunication issue here - even though you guys have said that this update was about 'polishing the episode one', nobody knew what that entails and how much of a new content there will be.

So if we combine these two things with the fact that people had waited a LONG time, I think it is understandable that some people are pewed.

In a way, you guys had dug your own graves - you've set the expectation of the people so high that only a LARGE content update would fully satisfy the naysayers. (I am not attacking you here, it's just how I see it.)

Honestly, the only thing that I think about that would prevent another 'blowout' like that in the future, would be to be much more transparent with the amount of new content new updates bring. If people knew how little new content the last update brought in advance, then the amount of the displeasure would've been much lower.

I hope that the communication issues with the fanbase will be resolved in the future and new update will be celebrated by the all.

Just saying. This game being "free" doesn't free it from the scrutiny.

The only thing that I would change right now is to add another background picture to the "Anon attacks enemy base to steal their chili recipe" arc.

Right now when Anon destroys tv by accident, the background picture is not changed to reflect that.

It's especially noticeable because the camera pans to the intact tv, while the text says it got 'destroyed'.

Not only that, but there is a version of that background picture with said tv destroyed! (and an angry girl glued to the floor via bubblegum)

It would be simple to use 'lasso' tool to select the destroyed tv in said picture and then 'paste' it onto the original one!

Please do this guys, the lack of destroyed tv really triggers my autism ;x

Okay, I finally played through season 1

There are a few things that bugs me off:

1. In the new expansion of chapter 1, the one where we meet Sonia, there is a problem with the textbox overlay.

While it's cool that it looks like old CRT monitor, it is misaligned with the text, so it cuts off the bottom-most line of the dialogue. I had to use "dialog" button to see what was cut off.

I noticed the same problem with the "recordings" as well. I had to use "history" tab to see what was cut off in Sandra's recording.

I suggest putting text higher when that overlay is displayed.

2. Clicking on the Kuddlefury links in the "Order of the furry paw" causes my game to crash. 

3. I was genuinely sad that the main theme was changed.

Don't get me wrong, the new there is good in isolation.

BUT the old one is so iconic to me... I really miss it when I open the game.

Maybe add an option to choose what kind of main theme plays when game is in main menu? Like, put that option in "config" or something?

...so the game updated already? Because it still is Operation NOVEL: Version 0.7.5 (PC) in download.

Damn, it will be 05:00 where I live when season 1 will come out.

Maybe next time you guys could program in a timer to the game page when you'll start releasing season 2 parts?

Now that I think about it different timezones really screw up making precise dates of releases.

Like, when you release a new update in a specific day, which timezone you should be using? The one from the country from which you come from? Or something more 'universal' like European timezone?

I guess this is another headscratcher that comes from making a game with international audience...

Awwww, I wanted to play this game on Christmas!

I really hope the update will be worth it.
