Ok, I've figured the stuff with the bottles, but there is another bug that spoils everything - I found the room with the spikes. I hanged on the chains as expected. I couldn't find any treasure at the bottom (maybe didn't look enough) and in the room where that trader used to sit also had an empty chest and nothing in it. So, I shoot at the bridge that was connected to a chain, it fell down (yeah, I have my pistol back somehow, the game did not explain, maybe it's another bug). Then I died at the spikes. When I restarted, the bridge is already down. But when I get closer to it and a small cut scene starts, the MC supposed to jump onto the chains. Now, he's missing it and always jumps onto the spikes (probably because of the bridge in another state).
Finally played this game. It's a hidden gem! So many variations, choices really matter! The story is deep and believable. I wish the graphics was a bit better though and more scenes are rendered/drawn (they are well described in texts, but not images). I was also hopping for some polyamory/friendly ending with both - the mage and the bard if keeping the highest scores with them, but could achieve that - you'll have to pick to side only one eventually.
Love the story and the atmosphere! The art is pretty nice too. I wish the final game will have many more scenes (not just 9 or whatever they've planned...). Also, would be nice, if the plot was not that linear after all - choices should matter... it always adds nice interactivity to any game (and, yes, complexity for the devs, lol).
A few things I don't understand in the story:
1) Why the MC's father really need the MC for that job, if he already has Jackson, who seems to be gay and very... experienced?)
2) Why would Jackson and the MC stop sleeping with each other after finding out that MC is the son of the boss?
Imho, it would add a nice tension, if the MC were more shy in the beginning, and Jackson would seduce him into all sort of kinky stuff slowly)
I was replaying this demo recently and couldn't figure out a couple of things. When the "mental health" is 0, why nothing happens? Also, when you choose to "submit to lust", this says later that the lust is increased, but when you check the character stats, it's not - still 0. Also, what's the difference between corruption and lust? The parameters are not explained clearly anywhere.
