Hi! I am interested in participating on this jam, I’ve wanted to learn godot for a while now and I think this could be a nice opportunity :D

Just a question, I see in the dates indicated by the “itch.io timer” the gamejam starts on 24th August and lasts until 1st September, but in the description it says that the submission period opens from 17th August until 24th August.

Which one is correct? (if the game jam is still being prepared, sorry for butting in!!)

Thank you a lot!! We are thinking of taking out the cooldowns if we end up making a new version, so thanks for the feedback! Many people said they felt off, and it makes sense yeah :D We initially wanted to add a mechanic that did need the cooldowns, but as it is, it’s kind of annoying only.

Hahahah, thank you a lot, it was a fun story to make!! (I have a lot of miopia so we had a laugh when we thought it up)

Do you think it felt difficult because it lacked some kind of tutorial or the mechanics were off? All feedback is appreciated, since we are still learning about game design/user experience :D

We might post a new version sometime with all the feedback we received, and also might take out the cooldowns completely (we added them for a mechanic we couldn’t add in the end, so they do not make much sense as it is now yeah!)
