Hey there, I appreciate you playing my game!

"Penetrate the Veil: Spoken Hearts" was created for the One Single Choice Jam, so the only "true" choice was the one where Ekam asks what you want to do. Which path is your favorite of the four?

I envisioned the blacked-out options as the things you want/could say but know better than to voice out loud. Considering that he's willing to wipe out an entire city for your survival, it wouldn't go very well if you asked him to kill you.

Aww, thank you for picking my game to play on stream! Your pngtuber is very charming, and I laughed at the three different voices you gave Ekam.

Aww, thank you for your kind words! Ekam also loves you.

Thank you for your interest in my game. Unfortunately, I don't currently have any plans to build a Mac version as I don't use them enough to confidently test and support one.

However, there are several ways to play Windows games on a Mac. There are several tutorials online to help you with any of these methods.

1) The easiest is installing Wine as they will allow you to run most Window applications, not just games. This is the method I recommend.

2) Another way is to run it via a virtual machine, though this demands a lot more storage space since you are partitioning your operating systems. Note that you do NOT need to buy Windows for your virtual machine to run games.

3) VMware Fusion Pro is recently free for personal use, and is similar to a virtual machine, only you can run this entirely on the Mac side without having to sign out of your profile.

If you do not wish to set any of these up and/or would like your donation refunded, please reach out to support@itch.io.

Thank you for playing my game!

Rest assured, the "Undying Devotion" collection will continue to be added to over the years. For now, please look forward to a sequel of this game coming soon!

Hooray! ⍝ʕ´•ᴥ•`ʔ⍝

Congratulations on getting all three endings!

I'm glad you enjoyed the choices because I had a blast writing them. Ekam is the sort that goes for the jugular no matter what you say/do to him...

That 1k word limit truly had me fighting for my life with "explaining the least" and still conveying everything necessary to understand the premise. As the dev, my goal was to leave the majority of details up to interpretation.

Did "you" truly choose the late husband because it was a safe choice or did "you" truly love him? Was Ekam's feelings toward "you" merely one-sided or were "you" lovers in the past? When "you" lean into his touch, were "you" hoping to get his guard down, or were "you" reciprocating his affections?

Or perhaps the story as how Ekam lays it out sways you. But there is danger in that because he IS yandere, so naturally he wants you to believe his narrative.

Thank you for the comment, and playing my game!

Hello! I think this is a super cool game. I'm also a fellow Godot+Dialogic dev, and I was wondering how you got the text to not advance when clicking Save / Load / History / Settings?
