that was a phat melon

absolute banger of a game, potato approved

certified banger

very understandable, unfortunately we had to compromise on it to flesh out the mechanics. Glad u liked the vibes tho :)

ah lol didnt notic

btw i realize it was made in 9 hours, and its really awesome how much you made in this time. So i guess its fine if you didnt really achieve the full vision of the game.

It is pretty nice. I like how enemies that are far away from you dont attack you directly just wait until you get near them so you wouldnt get overwhelmed, and at the same time you wouldnt be able as much to train the screws (train means making them all stack on top of eachother and all of them are following you from the same direction) like you would do in other games of this genre.

However i wish there was more spice to it, so instead of having an open map, just add some obstacles or maybe even walls that would randomly generate each wave.
And maybe a power up screwdriver that can fit on any screw  that you get for a short time.
(This kind of fits the theme more than having multiple screwdrivers, since i guess it shouldve been a single tool that have multiple purposes, but idk)

Lastly the controls are pretty good, i just wish you could just select the screwdriver you want using 1,2,3... buttons instead of the scroll wheel so you wouldnt panic picking the screwdriver because its a little clunky since the wheel rolls so fast.

Anyways, i got to wave 14, killed 80, and i would give it 3.75/5. Potato Gods approve!

Seems fun but can be improved, so:

-Add SFX in main menu

-Small tutorial or introduction to the game

-When you tap the screen you need to add a little sound and some visual effects to make the controls more responsive

-Add the option to swipe instead of tapping

-Visuals need improvement

-Would be better if you make it endless and gets harder the farther you get

-Needs more optimization cause its supper laggy on lower end mobiles

And that's it, gud luck on your journey! <3

Loved the concept but the movement wasn't really that good
