Heads up just because of the way I type on this type of stuff - when I say a criticism, I mean it at face value and I'm not implying "your game sucks because of this" or anything of that nature! (most of the time it's relatively minor) I just tend to type in a to the point and sorta detailed way when talking about something specific is all, there's not a game here I truly disliked and a harsh tone ain't intended anywhere here

Frog Creator - Very cute and that puts a very good charm on this! Think it would benefit from having some simple music playing over it and editing the background being something you can do also, as well as things to put a more unique spin on it aside from the base "create a frog" aspect (though building off it obviously)

Temple of star - Visually, this is the best looking/most polished looking game here so props for that! For the gameplay/audio/story it's not bad but it's also generic imo, so it could benefit from more creative ideas in those aspects. One thing that was done well in that aspect was the jumping on the statue's head joke that I thought was cute, so I think this would benefit from more things like that

Tenne - Great base for a game! I think it would have benefitted from some indicator of the current end of the level instead of "you just went through the end, die". (or I'm just being dumb which is *very* possible) Also currently that speed power up doesn't seem to serve a significant use in the level design, and I feel like some fun things could be done with that (like a segment that you can only get to with momentum from a fast running jump for example). I like the story premise of this and I think some really fun puzzles and mechanics could play off that, but I think there could have been some indicator of this in the game itself rather than just the description. I'd say if you're thinking about it keep adding to this because it has potential to be really good imo

Beneath the Gale - I like the gameplay concept here! I think the main thing this would benefit from is more gameplay mechanics to play with (the level being more interactive, being able to play more of a stealth game than what's availible with the bird, etc) and having the bird less predictable. Overall was a fun time!

Ball Game - I like the (intentional) simplicity of this and feel like some fun things can be done here! The main criticism for this from me is that the audio seems barebones/generic. Also think visuals could be expanded on (though still kept simple because of the vibe of the game)

Thanks! Guitar + Bass are recorded, drums are synthesized (don't have access to my real kit rn). And yeah defo agree the boss fight could be improved

Heyo! As title says I'm looking to make some game music, the main genres I'm good with are metal genres (though I'm open to trying other things), I play guitar+bass, program drums (don't have access to my real kit rn), and do mixing stuffs. Reason I want to try making game music is because I've been doing music for a good bit, and a lot of my inspirations are game osts so yeah could be very fun!
Dropbox link to a few demos for a personal project to give an idea of what my playing sounds like - https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/85rwlutslovyoqjge67ev/AH6STXKpwFIk6qHfcFE8H_g?rlkey=ou6exbogqypfe7io7lcba5f2n&st=2eioas6x&dl=0

Also while I'm new to game dev stuff, I know a bit on programming so can help where I can on that aspect also, and I think trying some sfx stuff would be very fun so I'm also open to that!

Tried joining the discord in the description of this jam and as the title says it's expired, any way it can be updated?
