Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I actually teared up a bit reading this, if I'm being honest. I can't count the number of nights I laid in bed, frustrated at myself for not being able to focus on or accomplish anything in regards to the projects I've started. I put so much strain, so much pressure on myself to do something, anything, just to feel like I wasn't letting myself or the few people following me down.
I've been taking the past month or so easy. I'm still working full-time to makes ends meet, and I spend what free time I have doing small things to keep my spirits up. It's honestly been pretty therapeutic. Atlas comes to mind more than a few times a day, but I don't dwell on it like I used to. I know that I'm not done with it; I'll get to it when I can, at a much more manageable pace, and with a heck of a lot less stress.
When I do come back to it, when the times comes for Atlas's story to continue, I hope that you'll come by and check it out.
Again, thank you so much.
Not exactly dead, just not high up on my priority list right now. I have a version ready to push, but that's going to be it for a while. A lot of the code under the hood is jank and needs to be rewritten. I'll also be taking out the map system despite the work that's been put into it; it's just too much of a hassle to manage and test for bugs. After v0.0.011 is pushed, I wouldn't expect anything for at least a few months.
As always, Twitter's the best place to find the latest updates on my projects. @AutusDevNSFW
Itch doesn't allow for injecting JS scripts into the Description block. It also doesn't play well with some specific HTML blocks, like <div> and <span>. I'd assume it's because they don't want you breaking the uniformity of the game pages, which is completely understandable; It's something that could easily be abused.
I'd love to be able to embed a Twitter feed into the game's description and/or developer profile pages. I use the devlog feature for major, lengthy posts about my games and for publishing detailed notes about version updates, but I use Twitter for play-by-play update notes as I work on things. Being able to embed the feed would save viewers from having to leave the game page to see if there's been any progress posts made.
Thank you so much for the feedback and kind words! I knew I probably missed a conditional check somewhere; I'll do some testing with the male customization and see if I can't publish a fix for it with the next version!
Edit: Looks like it was an issue with the breast size conditional check. Apparently it somehow got included in the "male" checklist as well, and it was kicking back an error because it couldn't replace a value that didn't exist on-screen. It's a simple fix and I should have it included in the bugfix list for the next version update!
Thank you for reporting issues with the 32-bit version. I experienced some issues exporting it myself but figured it might just be an isolated case.
As for the second mission, it's currently not complete yet. There were a lot of things that were changed around underneath the hood, and it didn't get finished. Ultimately I aim to have the entire prologue and character creation completed by March. However, it all depends on how my work schedule plays out.
Such high praise! Right now all of the text content is just a first pass so that I can continue building up the game's story framework. I'll be going back over and rewriting some scenes and adding a lot more detail later on. Nonetheless, I'm ecstatic that you enjoy my writing! Thank you so very much for the feedback!
