Yo, fellow gamers! I’ve just dropped my insane indie game, Simple Steps, and it's ready to mess with your mind and reflexes. I’ve spent FOREVER fine-tuning every pixel, every level, and I NEED your feedback!
So, here’s the deal: You control a 2D ALIEN (yep, you read that right), who’s gotta dodge an army of utterly bonkers traps and beat mind-melting puzzle levels to collect diamonds. But wait – it gets wilder. Once you’ve hoarded enough precious gems, you can unlock NEW CHARACTERS to shake up your gameplay. And don’t even get me started on the built-in TIMER that’ll keep your heart racing. It's perfect for that "can I beat my own record?" rush!
Speedrunners, YOU WILL LOVE THIS. But even if you’re just chilling, it’s the perfect pick-up-and-play. It's easy to learn, but HARD AS HELL to master. If you’re curious, check out the gameplay vid on my YouTube linked in the game page. I dare you to finish it faster than me. 😉
Give it a shot, leave me some feedback, and let's see how fast you can go before you lose your mind! 😜

This one might stir up some controversy, but hear me out—so many indie devs play it safe. They stick to the formulas, avoid bold ideas, and make games that blend in with the crowd. It’s safe, but it doesn’t get noticed.
I’m not saying you should make something that’s "bad" just for the sake of being different, but why do we shy away from those wild, crazy ideas that could either completely flop or be the next big thing?
I’m guilty of this, too. I’ve taken huge risks with my game—tried new mechanics, pushed boundaries, made sure it was polished. And yet, I’m still watching as it struggles to find the audience it deserves.
So here’s the question: Why does it feel like the things we should be taking risks on aren’t getting the attention they deserve? Maybe it’s just me, but something’s not adding up.
What’s the riskiest move you’ve made with your game? Was it worth it, or do you feel like you’re still waiting for that breakthrough?

yo I think the game could be good but the controlls in my opinion are for a touch screen you cant play on mouse and keyboard you should be able to slide with one key and jump with another if you were to add this to the game i reckon a lot more people would enjoy it i would defenitly play it if it did that is my first thought on loading the game other than that its pretty cool nice work please consider new controls
