Well, I don't mind that. I've seen some games designed like this. You can see them as parallel worlds. They already exist, your choice just leads you to different worlds.

Absolutely love this game!! As a Chinese, I'm familiar with the concept of red string and past lives 红线 轮回转世etc. It's glad to see someone involved these concepts in a game!
