I put 3 ingots firmly on the anvil, just like the other millions of times I'd done it. I chose the axe and I got a single axe blade that took 2 ingots and left one behind. 

I have tin tools that I want people to buy ,but they always want copper. Is there something I have to do to make them buy tin?

I'm not sure if it has to do with it being tin, but I had 3 ingots on an anvil, selected axe, and got a single axe blade with one ingot. All three were firmly placed on and it turned two ingots into a single axe blade and left me one. 

Will anyone ask for tin tools? I have tin stuff and want to sell, but everyone wants copper stuff.
