I'm not upset over the no updates. Like you said, it's just a game. But evidently not many share the same feelings as I did. I really wasn't going to say anything, but then CrimsonRaj just went and said the author "owes the public nothing." That's such a stupid reason that I just had to set the record straight; he does owe the public something, and that's publicity. Again, he's under no obligation to update, but as the owner of a public space, it's moral thing to do to explain what happened.
No, I'm not saying he should put away his life for a moment to attend to our needs. Literally all we want is for clarification. Maybe some apologies. And I checked his patreon regularly; even there he still has no updates. If you consider the unpolished, alpha access update then sure, maybe 1. But that's besides the point.
What I'm trying to say is "Hey, we're here too! We're still waiting for updates! It doesn't have to be version update, just an update in general; why the game is late, what's been going on, etc." That's it. You want me to check is discord? Maybe once in a solar eclipse does he or his boyfriend show up there. You want me to check his twitter? He never addresses his game there, just social life.
But again, those are besides the point. He posts his game on itch and on patreon. He's not obligated to, but it's something decent to address the issue(s) with one's own game(s). The fact that he's gone completely radio silent here just pissed everyone off. It's as if he's not even acknowledging the existence of his itch community. So what if we're free to play? Does that mean whatever we say is moot because there's not a penny's worth in it? Piss off and go to hell lmao.
That argument is stupid because if that's it then might as well not upload this to the public. Just so you know, for every 100 new public players there is bound to be at least 1 new patreon payer. Food for thought.
Great game! My only pet peeve is that the MC just suddenly became so... Timid after the town's destruction. It was really off putting when the vicious and feral wolf we saw slaughtering the knights turned to a completely submissive and nervous puppy. Literally went from zero to a hundred but in reverse lol.
Honestly, PATS is a good idea with terrible execution. I don't really understand why I need the GPS to locate the inside of my own house. And it's so empty might as well not have it at all. I'd really rather choose to mindlessly explore the area if that means I can get some sort of interaction. Releasing this content-based app at a time when content is very scarce is a bad idea imo.
My advice is make it so that the phone is where you can go advance the story whether they're side quests or main quests, but still keep some interactions outside of using the phone.
Love this game! And now I shall wait for Act 2 to be finished to then replay this game (I'm very patient, I know).
Seeing the Connor/Alex/Seth scene give me hope that in the future poly/open relationship is possible. And Ronan is such an arrogant bastard, I hope the good doctor manage to tear down his walls and possibly date him or get him and Nick back together, or at the very least get him as far away from Luke as possible. Speaking of Nick, the font confused me at first and thought that his name is Mick and I was like "what?" Lol.
At any rate, I shall come back to this page once in a blue moon to see if Act 2 is finished (obviously won't be any time soon lol) and to avoid spoilers as much as possible. Great game. 10 out of wolf dick would get knotted again.
This is quite a brazen question, but considering Axel and Dom's "relationship," is it possible to date both of them aka poly? I'm quite new to this game, played 0.49 (and loved it), saw "Axel&Dom" or something when talking to Eric, and I just assumed. I've played so many games like this but so little of them includes poly/open relationships, and to be honest, I'm kind of exhausted at vanilla relationships lol. Either way, I've been wanting to cuddle Axel ever since I saw him; he's just sooo cuuuuutteee. But still I hope Axel/MC/Dom route is possible hehe
