My bad! I thought there wasn't any, but I just revisited and of course you have check boxes for sound on the start page. I suppose I missed it because I didn't expect the option there. When i played I went straight to the how t play and then start after that. The audio itself is nice also, nothing wrong with the quality or anything like that, in which case I guess my only criticism of the sound would be that it should be on by default, with the option to toggle it off, rather than off by default. Even then, I doubt it would have bothered me much had I noticed the (glaringly obvious) check boxes to begin with.

I have no problem with people selling games that they worked on ofc not, but you're straw manning me there, because my problem is when you use a game jam as a cheap way to promote said game. It has nothing to do with the theme or the community this jam was made for, it's opportunism and it's lame.

Thanks for playing, and for your kind words. Oh and merry Christmas  :)

Lol was I playing against real people? If so, get schooled pingis :D Was fun, also multiplayer is ambitious!

Damn trixy long-ears tryna stop my from celebratin dwarfmas!  Cool game, liked that it retained the fantasy feel with t he music and location etc while still being a christmas game.

Nice atmosphere. I think it felt too zoomed out for the size of the pixelart though. This was also the same with the dialogue text, it was hard to read at such a size. I liked the dreamy feel though, was cool.

spooky, terrifying and difficult, everything Christmas should be and more :)

It was cool. Obviously I think balancing it is the hardest part, after getting a turret at level 2 and some tiny reindeer, I was set for the rest of the game. My only issue was that the flame thrower and the snowball launcher didnt seem to work.

Similar to the comment below, I guessed that it was an autobatteler thing, because i couldn't move or anything. And yeah, the game went on after i died and enemies were doing weird stuff. The volume was a bit high to. Was this made in scratch btw?

Nice shaders and effetcs sfx etc. Also, Rudolph scary af :)

Nice art style and atmosphere.

Got to wave 5. Nice concept, the waves could done with being longer, but im sure you have a bunch of things you would have added in if you had the time.

scored 15.37874, I'm sure im on the low end performance-wise :D I like that you chose a simple mechanic and got it nicely polished while sticking to the theme. Sound could do with work, but ti was fun, nice work!

Nice celeste'y' style of platform game, I liked the cute pixelart and general feel of the rooms etc. One issue is that you list controls but none of them worked for me. Arrows didnt move and z and x didnt do anything either. I had a control pad plugged in and the y button jumped and the left analog moved. Couldn't figure out how to uppercut though and got stuck at the point i think you need it at to progress.

Released 6 days and 12 hours before the deadline of a 7day jam. Nah, I think I'll pass.

I like the art, and music. the overall feel reminded me of the original duke nukem, perhaps the billboards and sfx helped in that regard. The shooting felt like the aim wasn't on the crosshair though, and everything including the player had too much health. I also see that there is a newer version, but it looks like it was uploaded after the jam, so I only played the first upload as I have like 40 more to play :P

interesting, I  managed to build a ball tower into the heavens and then somehow it all turned into min presents :D

I liked the funny start, balls need to union up yo! Interesting idea, needs cleaning up though, I was able to get 67% while being upside down somehow evading gravity :D

Menu doesn't work very well, only pressing enter did anything (started game). Camera doesn't follow player so all you can do is walk around a 8x8 square area and fire a gun. Doesn't seem to follow the theme, thinking maybe it's not even made for this jam??

Gotta love when people upload a paid product to a jam...

nice. I got stuck in the 3rd? room, with two turrets and was it a bouncy floor im not sure, but couldn't reach the present. I'm not a fan of having jump on w and space, that confused me a bit, but I really liked the chiptune, and sound fx. If bugs were ironed out, you could extend this a lot i reckon, could be a challenging type of platformer for sure.

Is it actually like a maze with an end? I explored all I could, ran into some enmies, not sure what the red number on screen means.

Interesting game, cool mechanic. I feel like I'm missing some back story here about the character and what not. My only issue is I can't get used to the control on pc, Im way too used to wasd for using arrow keys.

This was coo, very in depth for a short jam! So much art and story, go you :)

Couldn't figure out how to go fullscreen, or why the gun didn't seem to do much, am I missing something? The screenshots look better than what I got to experience, sadly. I did like the cute pixel art and lowfi Christmas beats tho.
Edit - I tried another html 5 game and that had a fullscreen button in the bottom corner, so I retried this to see if I missed it, but there definitley isn't a fs button that I can see.

Submitting an already made, pay to play game to a gamejam has to be the most stupid thing I've seen on here, you're not even trying to hid it, kinda shameless.

High score of 800, fml. Not sure how to rate? Or is that only for participants? Ah I see, it was over already, lol, nvm.

Never heard of Bfxr, but from your description it sounds exactly like sfxr, which a fantastic tool for creating sound fx (shocking right) :P ideal for 2d/cute/pixelart etc.

Sausages ^_^

Interesting looking game. Not sure how it fits with the theme, and I don't think there's enough guidance for the player. I kinda figured that you're supposed to follow the blue line, but no matter how much I tried I kept getting game over.

Still, very nice graphics and looks like it could be fun and of course, is very challenging.

movement was nice and smooth. Liked the character animation and the cool variation of zombies. Super fun over all, which is no mean feat in a game jam :)

Nice animations and aesthetic. Damn those 'scientists' are cold hearted :P This feels like it could be a multiplayer game, akin to octo-dad and the like, because there were so many controls.

Cool game, was nicely put together, smooth performance and all that good stuff. The only thing I'd change is to make it more clear if you guess correctly - make the score visible in game. Because although the music sorta implied a bad guess, I wasn't sure if it always was, as I thought I'd narrowed the guess down to it's obvious conclusion.
