"Arrocera" should refer to "rice cooker," if my translator isn't tricking me. Well, it's an appliance—you can't use a stove to cook with it. You just need to put the correct amount of rice and water in, plug it in, and it will work automatically. There are markings on the rice cooker, and you just need to add water up to the corresponding line. I think Isuzu probably just used a regular pot to cook rice. I don't know how things are in Japan, but at least in China, we don't do that anymore because it's actually quite difficult.
