I don't do pixel art as much as I used to, but I do have an active discord: balloon9311. I apologize in advance if I'm slow to reply. Megaman Maverick looks like it's shaping up to be an awesome game!

Hey, OldLavyGenes474! I'm super sorry for taking so long to reply! I'm not on itch as much as I used to be. Your fan game is looking freaking awesome! The boss fight at the end is top-tier. You did a great job utilizing Glacier Man's animations. Thank you for showing me this! Comments like this are always a blessing!
Most of my assets strictly follow the NES's limitations, so the palette is the NES palette: https://lospec.com/palette-list/nes-aesprite. Each tile uses one of several sub-palettes that are made up of 3 unique colors and one shared color. Same goes for the sprites with the shared color being the alpha channel. Hope that helps!
Sorry it took me so long to respond. My internet has been out. I'd like to make a space-themed pack. Sadly, I have a hard time making time for itch. I'll definitely keep a space-themed pack in mind whenever I have some free time though! Thanks for all the encouragement and compliments, jjpp3006rgg! I appreciate you!
It would depend on the publisher's intent. If you create a game, movie, or book using my assets, you can sell that game, movie, or book without restrictions. You can even sell the game to a publisher. However, you cannot redistribute the assets themselves. A good question to ask is: Does my project compete with the assets in any way? If you use the assets in a Gamemaker project, you cannot sell the project file, but you can sell the game exported from that project file. I hope that makes sense. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Sorry for the late response, Disthron, but I wanted to be at my computer when I replied. This is freakin' awesome! Seeing my graphics in a game this cool makes all the effort worthwhile. I've been showing this video to my family, bragging about the buildings in the background haha. Thank you for sharing! And I hope your project does well!
I referenced every early Zelda game, including the one you mentioned. However, I drew each sprite by hand; each sprite took hours to make. This asset pack is for people who want to make Zelda-like games, so many of the animations match up. I would never and have never stolen or recolored anyone's assets.
Yes! I plan to make a playable character for this pack and future packs like it. Currently, I'm picking out abilities for the player and studying games in the same genre. But once I have everything figured out, I'll have a player out in no time. But don't expect an update soon; think 2-3 weeks from now. Thanks again, CapnWakka!
