game won't download. hit install and it gets to 100% then gives this:
rar: an entry cannot be decompressed (Max_The_Elf_DEMO_Data/sharedassets4.assets.resS)
idk if that file was named incorrectly and the pathway got screwed up or something, but it won't extract all the way because of it. please fix :(
um so i got to ashon plains and the stores. i bought an item labeled as 50g and i had 114 so i was gonna get that and the other item available since they say theyre both 50 each. i buy one and suddenly i have 34g left? so i go back in the text to check again and yeah. both say 50 but they're actually 80 when you pay for them. rip
okay so idk what fixed it cause i did multiple things. but i turned off skipping after text and transitions, then i did the mouse scroll wheel a couple times to go backward and then forward thru the text and now im on this sorta menu? im gonna keep going past this point to see if anything else happens but idk if theres supposed to be anything else on this screen as like a bg or something or if for some reason it had a little trouble loading this lol.

i think it just means an image couldnt be found. idk how to fix this. trying to do "ignore" and continuing i just endless blackness so i assume this is like. an important screen thingy.
oh good, another person who saw a looped ending! nobody else was mentioning it and i was worried i was alone in witnessing that lol
i didnt know if it was a prod at there being "no escape" or whatever but ill see if the dev ever responds to my inquiry.
the >15 also kinda weirded me but we do have 3a and 3b as two same-but-also-different death scenes so. maybe thats included as part of the 15? idk.
okay so i did the wonderful task of doing everything in an order that makes it so i have all the items (besides rat unfortunately) when opening the door. but the same thing happened? just the same screen with the audio loop.
is this the ending? do i need to wait here for some amount of time?? what am i not getting here
i think i found a bug w the final ending???
*SPOILER*
so i finished all the endings except the no smoking one, since i already had the cigarette and thus had to "reset" via the interview.
then i did the ending immediately by just turning and selecting the sign, without having done anything to gain any items and such. probably a mistake on my part, but still.
now im just watching a black screen with the audio of footsteps over and over. i dont have any items, and the little "back" button doesnt seem to be working.
closing out of the game and restarting it respawns me back in front of the fire escape, but hitting the "help" and elevator buttons does nothing.
...i also just found that restarting multiple times seems to have also erased the "back" button as well.
im honestly lost on whats supposed to be happening. is this the actual ending? or am i doing something wrong? like was i supposed to have this while i had the items?
someone help please
only two complaint. i can't see where i'm going very well, and the fact that i cannot stay stuck to a wall for very long. otherwise. cute game! love the mechanic overall even with my little irritation with part of it. also love that this just happened while she was asleep lol. hope this doesn't happen every time to her
