there are 2 ways of killing one.

1 using arcane based weapons so far you only have 3 to chose from. [ a call from beyond, executioners glove, black storm eye ] they do decent damage but require quick silver bullets. this doesn't help your few methods of grinding give little to no echos, so you have t rely on the blood transfuser.

2 cheesing the, noticibly easier. as this only needs 1 thing. a door. a door and a weapon that does not bouncy off surfaces IE hunter axe in transformed mode. there are 2 winter lanterns you can get with this. the first you encounter when leaving odean tomb. where there is a door way and 1 way door on the other side. to open this you need the sewer key equiped.  the other one is WAYYYYY back en over to the first clinic. now don't fret. when your nearing where gilbert was ( the kind fellow who opened the gates into central yarham ) all the enemies are normal yharnamite folk. the thing is there is 1 winter lantern in the clinic. so if you forgot you blood transfuser. nows the time to start from a older save and get it again. you see the damn thing when you enter the clinic, NOW don't open the door just yet. once you see the red light get very bright to the door. attack it. this will cause it to aggro onto you. NOW be careful as it CAN grab you through the wall and door since they are paper thin. ( note winter lanterns can follow your through load zones as a sick joke placed in so don't leave the clinic unless that beast is dead if you have any concerning amount of echos on ye ) so to kill it. just [ wait for red light > light is close > attack light> dodge backwards > repeat  ]

Heres a list of glitches that could be speed run tech
1 staying on a slightly Elavated edge while Being on the Cleric beasts Left? Leg will send you up a noticble ammount allowing you to make a plunge attack
2 getting throw into any load zones Mid Death Animation with Set your hp to 1 or -1 . Don't know what causes this
3 you can attack Enemies through thin walls. you can use this to technically cheese any winter lanterns you see Via Staying Behind a closed door

( note winter lanterns Can pass By doors  [ if left open ]  and climb ladders and go through load zones )

so guys i have some problems. i loaded a old save and when ever i go into a load zone ( execpt the hunters dream ) i get thrown into a pitch black abyss. i don't know if this is due to the fact i loaded a older save. or if this is a only me problem

So i loaded a save from 1.04 version into 1,05 all seemed well. till i was exiting the great bridge what happened was i was thrown into a big void. lost all 10k echoes. not only that i can't leave.
