You need some of the research to be able to play the adventuring story. EX: Lab as there are quest going on with it. You can't just ignore part of the game.

A lot from this update is quite strange. Mine that only gathers one item? Honestly, if you mine for Iron and find gold while doing it, you're not going to discard the gold since you are tasked to mine for iron. Stone is different since mining you actually break the stone to be able to extract the minerals, maybe a stone quarry should be added? Or specific mines since it is rare you find the ores all in one area.

Could have a window like the tax thing to set production priorities and research. Or even a slider to assign population to work in the various areas. More pop, more prod.

Micromanagement king or adventurer? Not sure what you want in this game, but this update really got me excited when I saw it and quickly logged off when I played for a few minutes. The adventuring was what I liked the most of the game and the micromanagement is really insane now.

There's a reason why government and even kings from the past had advisors or some sort of hierarchy.

It does look good, but takes a lot out of the game. Haven't tested it on running the game from start, but I hate the fact you say it's real time. Kills a lot from the RPG and the adventuring king story.

Fully agree, this is pure micromanagement. It is a RPG with a massive micromanagement government. The only kings that were doing this level of micromanagement ended up losing their lands to countries with more advisors.
