The game is about preventing the discovery of Higgs within a simulation you have created. If the "people within the simulation discover Higgs the world will end! your goal is to interact and play god to stop the discovery of Higgs without allowing the scientist in the game to realise they are within the simulation. You can do this by using one of the 4 "elements" to interact with objects within the map distracting or interfering with the scientists in a non violent way to allow Higgs to go undetected and pass through the lab.
