I need to check this more often, hah. Sorry for the delay.  I still think this project has a lot of potential, but I am too busy and unskilled code-wise to fulfill the vision of this project currently.  As much as I still want it to become real I wouldn't count on it for y'all's sanity.

I'm sorry to inform you the game has not been worked on actively for months now and it will probably stay that way. I would say for now, but being honest I don't wanna give any guarantees. 

Right now I'm solo and have stopped collaborating with any coder in the hopes to get the grips of coding myself. How is that going? Not as fast as I could be learning, but not bad! The stuff I learn actually makes sense to me and that makes me feel great and hopeful for my future gamedev adventures. 

In short, the production of the project has stopped indefinitely. BellyBelting is studying to make games on his own. 

Yeah, that's a known problem. I think you need to start a new run and try to finish off the enemies faster because the game just works like that for some reason

for  gameplay purposes obviouslyyyyyy she can never be immobile and won't have adverse fat effects, I guess the biggest challenge is me even knowing how to make her bigger cuz I usually don't draw bigger lol

sadly infinite gaining is not possible for obvious reasons... but more gain stages are possible tho other than bug fixes and minor additions it's not guaranteed the game will get a big update after this

Wow, amazing pfp. I think this version did manage to support controllers the last I remember? There is no option for it, I think you just need to plug it in and it should work. Title screen and pause should come into other versions of the game

We have a forum to discuss HC and asked people what they'd like to see. The most popular answers were: New units, more unit upgrades, new enemies, and an utter craving for making the queen even fatter! lol

Though we're very glad about the final product, being honest, the motivation for every single teammate to want to continue might be on the line since we no longer have a goal we want to strive for. Challenging ourselves with such a short timeframe and wanting to win was enough motivation then, but we no longer have that. The idea of money being the next motivation has been set on the table (which implies that the game's next update would be paid as a whole new experience), but we're uncertain about that one.

So, yeah. Even if we think these updates would be pretty awesome, we're still not sure if this'll keep on going... Still, I'm very glad all of you liked our game! I really appreciate all of your support! 💛

Well, the artistic direction was set out by the amazing Kathens and her adorable style and we used pixel art because that's what I'm good at, hehe... and of course... a mutual liking of fats was key.
That doesn't mean that we don't admire Tribal Hunter though!

We're primarily focusing on actually getting stuff done in general, putting our focus on PC. But yeah, one time we brought it up our programmer said that a port would be pretty simple to make, but first, we need to have a game to do that... 😅

Not any time soon, bud. The wheels are spinning, but it won't be ready for a while

For a male playable character, as of now, no. There are no plans for a male playable character. Although I have played with the idea before, it is not something we have in mind at the moment. I'm not saying that it's impossible since I know how much people appreciate a male protagonist in such circumstances, but as I said, there are no plans for a male playable character as of now.  The only visual change to the player character considered so far is the possibility of different outfits. What I can confirm is that there will be, of course, male NPCs (enemies, characters, bystanders, etc...).

I don't know about playing as complete other characters for sure, at least not one that is not a frog, because I don't think the intended gameplay loop would work if say, the character was a dog or something. I think skins are the most appropriate, but they are still a big load of work to make since all the player sprites would need to be remade.


Both my programmer and I are big fans of extra stuff like unlockables and secrets, so expect that to some level.


And it's fine, you're not late. The assets and code are going to be remade so it's like a brand new start!

Right now our game is more focused in fighting and exploration than stealth, but coming to think about it, it would be nice to have stealth implemented in some way, not greatly, but in some way. I will talk about it with the guys back at the HQ.
