this...game...was...AWESOME!! the earthbound and ace attorney references had me DEAD

I just finished two endings, this game is an absolute must-play. It has such good moments and knows how to tug on your heartstrings, a 10/10 from me.

When I first die, instead of taking me to the "What just happened?" screen, it just brings me to the start of the game with the controls and viewer discretion advised. From there, it just keeps bringing me to the start where you meet the co-worker. Am I doing something wrong?
