Very strong game loop! I had a ton of fun discovering new pockets of gold and figuring out how best to exploit them.

I never really felt a need to use an amplifier (it may just be that I'm not entirely sure what they do), and I DEFINITELY never felt like I needed to build a wall. I could be playing it inefficiently and wrong, but to me it felt like building a wall might hinder future expansion. At one point I tried to angle the wall at 45 degrees to bounce the balls in the direction of the face, but that just bounced the balls (which were coming in at a 90 degree angle) right back to the node from which they came, leading me to achieve the desired effect with another node and not looking at the wall option again.

Overall, this is a very good prototype and I can't wait to see what more comes of it :)

Are these real or fictional people? If real, I would personally change the names and possibly more just as a courtesy.

Making art with copyrighted material is in most cases not technically legal, but copyright holders often don't want to or don't have the time to go and take down everyone's artwork. Whether or not you make money is not a deciding factor in whether or not it's legal, but it might be a deciding factor in whether or not anyone will actually feel the need to make you stop.

Tl;dr - You'll most likely be fine, but it's possible you'll get a cease and desist

This game is fun! It's very relaxing to just skate around in the city, and there's definitely a solid foundation here.

If you're planning to make this game commercial, I would definitely suggest finding a native English speaker to translate/clean up the dialogue (assuming you don't have one). As it stands now the English is functional and understandable (and for a while I actually didn't know this was a foreign game), but there are times when it seems rather unnatural.

Can't wait to see what comes of this project :)

Very good horror game! The atmosphere is super strong throughout and I can't wait to see more :)

I can view the link in browser, but even when running in windowed mode there are no notifications. I even turned off my firewall just to be sure, and still couldn't connect to BBS.

Hi! I've been having a lot of fun writing code in Pico-8, it's a great program!

Splore isn't working for me, though. Every tab besides the one for local installations only gives me the option for "update", and when I select that it tells me it "could not connect to BBS". I'm running on Windows 10 and am almost certain it's not a firewall problem.

If anyone could help me out, it'd be greatly appreciated :)
