Thanks for checking it out! I did accidentally leave the player speed too high, and I've put out a new version to correct it as well as fix a bug with saving.

Yeah, it's pretty barebones atm, as I've been working on other things. You can open up the pause menu and use the "pet stuck" button to move it back to the default position, for future reference.

I like it! Polish it up with some art, more endings, and a "true" ending and it'll be great!

Interesting metroidvania concept!

  1. Take a look at this, I think it'll make it look better.
  2. Jumping doesn't feel good, maybe I should be able to change my momentum midair? Hard to be precise when platforming.
  3. One bullet can take out a whole row of enemies, maybe destroy the bullet after the first impact (or wall)?

Drifting feels a little odd, but looks pretty good!

  1. You can fall off the map.
  2. The Ingredient prefabs don't spawn at the player positions, but always near the door.
  3. Ingredients have a collision, I feel like it should be a trigger. Right now the ingredient can get stuck on things.

What do you mean by half-off screen? Like, only half is visible on the monitor? Or you can only see half of the ui elements? I just downloaded the build I put up, and I don't see any issues.

Interesting idea, but just showing pictures of the board and cards doesn't allow us to play. You really need a print and play pdf, where you an cut out the pieces, or something along those lines.
