This game is amazing. The art is great, and the patterns of the obstacles are the beating heart of the kraken. The story twist too was chills. Good job.

Hi Edgar! I liked the game. :D This game totally has potential. I had fun playing it and I like the tone, the concept, the aesthetic and the aim the game has. I also like reading Poe. I think I've mentioned to you that "Tell Tale Heart" is one of my favorite stories. I think it's also fun that the Main Character is named after the author and his buddy and guide is the Raven. I'd lose my shit if it cawed "NEVERMORE" to the main villain at some point. The whole graveyard and what's in it is charming as a world and I can immerse myself in it as I play.

OKY. Some Crits tho.

I will say that the narrative would work better through the dialogue. At this point, it feels passive like Edgar's only doing things to do things. Sure, he's trying to break the curse but what is his personal drive to want to do it? He's an inspector, sure, but why is he invested in this? Does he love the mystery? Is he curious about the supernatural? Is he just chicken but forced to do the job for reasons beyond his control? Narrative and world building depth can be achieved in the subtext of what they're saying rather than only describing what's going on.

Also the X button for activating dialogue is a bit clunky since I had to be at just the "right" spot to talk to everyone.

The ending for me was completely accidental. I actually finished the game without meaning too while I was looking for the rest of the Skeleton's leg to dance. I was looking for a hole to dig but instead I got a great surprise! xD

Perhaps clarification towards A, B, then C and onwards for what the player should do would be cool. Or at least a balance between wandering and primary narrative sequence. Also distinguishing between the Main Quest and Side Quests some how would be fun!

Besides that, I loved playing the game. I'm actually excited to see it in its final form! Thank you for sharing and for posting this for us to play! Also take what I say with a grain of salt. It's possibly okay to move on at some point after working hard on the game. It really looks like you put in a lot of work and you should honestly be proud of yourself! :)

Of course! I wish you guys all the luck for all future Game Jams! ^_^

The game is charming. I like the friendly atmosphere of the world, the MC and its friends that he's recruiting. :) I also love the fantasy vibe of the world.

I like this game! Although it seems like Better Together is stronger with the Queen, which makes this game hard but I love the challenge!

I loved the art and design of this game! It's so cute! I love the kitties and their attempts to help each other out! My only complaint is that I can't get the Kitty on the Right to jump since the box he's supposed to push on the second platform above the cage isn't moving. I tried a few times and gave up. BUT It's still well made for 48 hours and you should be proud.  :) (EDIT: I JUST GOT TO LEVEL 2 YAY!)

I just wanna say guys, I really liked your narrative and set design. When you get to the end, I had all the feels. :) I'm a sucker for story and feels so trust me when I say, you guys should be proud of this.
