Hey!
Im working on a game along side someone and we are planning on making our game's primary features in different phases, right now we are comming up with ideas into how our items system should work and how you could costumize them, while the core points of the game are defined we still dont know specifics as for example I restructured the whole idea of the items like 4 days ago and only when this first prototype is done will I know if its truly a good idea.
The game, in short will be a top down 2D multiplayer game with features of survival and rouguelite, similar to "streets of rougue" if you want a reference
Even tough you preefer projects that would take a few weeks to make, this one would take at least a year to make, but since we are making this game like this (primary features, per 1/2 months) I feel like we could work together, at least, for this first part :)
If you wanna know more about the game we are making I suggest contacting me on discord: besteres

Hey!
Im at the starting phases of a project, a concept of the game and the main mechanics have been tought out and are being developed right now, and I feel like this should be the perfect moment for someone else to join if they are ever interested in the game idea.
Im looking for anything, it be an artist/programmer/designer with any kind of experience, as long as you are comfortable in your position.
This game will be a multiplayer (network) top down game where you can:
-go around killing monsters
-buy gear
-do it all over again
All this in rouguelike way, this be the randomness of the equipment available to you and the different combinations you can create with the items you either buy or get dropped from. Many of the specifics are still being worked on and I think that this should be decided while prototyping the game and testing it with people.
And this is where YOU could benefit more from this project, concepts of gameplay are still being tought of and experimented so you could possibly make your ideas finnaly come alive with some of my help.
(For now everything that I have developed in UNITY is this)
(A red box that "kills" you on contact, an inventory and item using systems, all synced to the network, could help understanding some of it with art I know 😅)
I dont have any money to pay to anyone, as this is a hobby project, and I also understand that developing multiplayer games can be very intimidating (specially with someone you have never coded with), but I am open to collab with someone who even has NO experience coding multiplayer games, or little experience in making games... hell im 3 years into making games and im still learning a lot on how unity and programming works.
All I really care is that we try :D

Hey!
This game was originally made for the SpeedJam #2 https://itch.io/jam/speedjam2 made in 3 days... but I wanted to give it some more love before sending it out to the wild an work on my next project, I decided for it to be a hidden prequel of my other game The Doors
The game is played in a 2D platform based world, jumping your way to the top... or to its secrets that it is holding within, either way you want to escape this place.
But the game is very punishing, every small mistake can mean a total loss of your whole progression, but if you are struggling or just want to test out the game without being punished, theres a "training mode", but your score wont count to the global leaderboards.
To this day no one has beat the game because of its harsh punishments, even though the game is beatable.
One thing that I would like for people to beat is the lore... theres a story hidden in the game, a story of this place and why it was built.
Hope you can enjoy it!
I was honestly going to remove that before submitting but a friend of mine who play tested the hell out of this game told me specifically NOT to remove that feature as it was funny xD
Also the game is really so unfairly hard and I'm planning on a fix for that in a future update after the jam ends!
(it will be as hard if not harder! But the end game won't be so unforgiving at least)
Stay tuned!
Willing to work almost every day, for short or long term.
With +3 years of unity experience I have plenty of experience in 2D and basic knowledge in 3D.
I also have over a year of experience with the netcode for gameobjects package for unity.
Would preferably want to work on 2D projects but depending on the project complexity I can also manage 3D games, multiplayer or not!

Really cool game, the controls are simple, mediocre but effective UI, costum content support and it even has multiplayer!
My only complain is that there is no explanation about the progress of the game until you get a very specific material... and there is also no knockback making it hard for you to survive the very first day looking for resources
Other than that this looks very cool as a game prototype and would love to see more versions of this in the future
