Devlog #1: Kicking Off Our Pizza Adventure! 🍕
Hello, everyone!
I’m thrilled to finally share the first update about my new project: a restaurant management game focused on pizza-making and food service. Imagine the thrill of running your very own Pizza Restaurant, cooking delicious pizzas, managing orders, and making sure every customer leaves with a smile! 🥳
🧑🍳 Game Concept
The core idea of the game is to put you right in the middle of a fast-paced kitchen environment. You’ll take on the role of a chef and business owner, cooking in a restaurant. The gameplay revolves around taking orders, customizing pizzas, and serving customers within time limits. But there’s more:
- Create unique pizza recipes for different types of customers.
- Buy Groceries buy regular items which used to make items.
- Manage the flow of customers: some are patient, others—not so much!
🎯 What to Expect
The goal is to blend casual fun with the thrill of business management. You’ll need to make quick decisions while also planning long-term growth. The more satisfied your customers are, the faster you grow!
Here are a few planned features:
- Addictive gameplay loop with satisfying cooking mechanics.
- Unique Concepts to keep things fresh.
- Challenging scenarios as you expand to new locations and face unexpected events (think rush hours, rainy days, and picky customers!).
🚀 Timeline and Progress
I'm aiming to finish this project within 3 to 5 months, working solo. I’ve already started developing the cooking mechanics, and so far, everything is shaping up nicely! Unreal Engine is proving to be a great tool, and I’m excited about the potential for a smooth and polished final product.

For the next milestone, I’ll focus on implementing:
- Order management mechanics: Customers place their orders, and you need to make pizzas according to their preferences.
