also for some reason the game started crashing, specifically when I died or started/ended a level. Also a quick suggestion is to give the mech some weapons that help one form over the other. Like droppable bombs that do lots of damage to ground targets but are really only good as a plane, and melee weapons for the mech form

I feel like this could easily be expanded upon with a few more missions and maybe some alternate weapons or parts for you mech. Just simple stuff like parts that prioritize 1 mode over the other, like more plane or mech maneuverability. The core mechanics and idea are very fun though.

Recently read the book and I can say it was worth the purchase. Even though I found about you through youtube I decided to read the first book and I enjoyed the characters and world that you wrote. So I just wanted to say that I am so glad that I decided to check it out, and I hope more people read your books.

I had a good time with this game but I wish you could see more progression like when you get a thousand citizens or 100 walls.

Loved this game so much I went and played it twice. The bosses are cool the stages are unique and it is one of the few beat em up style games that I played and loved. Can't wait for more!

Can you add more levels because i want more of this great game.

also in the overworld the player should be an instruiment different to every other one in the game be keep the note for the battles.

also i found a bug where the boss will just not attack so you get softlocked
