Thank you so much for the feedback. The cookie thing is something that I've heard quite a bit, and am planning on making adjustments to in some way.  I don't think a color adjustment is the exact solution I plan on going with, though.  I like the repair station concept.  I believe the biggest difference between my current plan for this and Starscape is that I plan to expand this game to be fairly campy.  Rather than exploring complex realistic sci-fi systems, I want it to feel more lighthearted, hence why everything is dropping coins.  That's not to say I don't have plans for any sort of system similar to that.  Perhaps upgrade stations where you use salvaged parts to upgrade your ship, rather than just buying upgrades at a shop at the beginning of each level

Very good use of the theme!  I feel like it would've been a lot less frustrating to manage if i didn't have to be so precise with that "interaction square." I found myself constantly missing something or it pointing at something else.  However looking past that, the execution is very well done, the art is great, and it's a fun game!

thank you so much!

I probably didn’t make it obvious enough, but by the second level you unlock a booster to use to make it up to the top.

I love that so much! Thanks so much for playing it together! I’m glad you had fun!

so glad you guys liked it! I got a little carried away with the levels and forgot about good difficulty progression, lol.

I’m glad you enjoyed it! I have a big backlog of old art that I was happy to repurpose, and that really came in handy. Just wish I had more time polishing the level design.

YES EXACTLY.  Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks so much.

I love the visuals a lot! sound fx and music are very nice and the whole game has a very comforting vibe to it. Level design was great to the point that I had a little trouble but not too much to take away from the fun.  Awesome game.

Thank you so much! I took a bit of a risk choosing the palette solely based on the name, but I think it panned out well.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it :)

The visuals and sound fx are very good! I love the colors. It's got an extremely interesting aesthetic. Very intuitive and fun to play!

That means a lot to me. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks a ton.

thanks a lot! glad you liked it.

thank you!

Thank you so much!

thank you!

Just checked out your game! Very fun! I actually didn't use the browns from Resurrect 64. Instead I used #9e5639, #6e3027, and #412429. I just thought they worked better while still suiting the palette nicely.

Love it! Thanks for using my tileset!

thanks so much!

that could definitely be interesting... maybe as its own smaller pack

that means a whole lot! Thank you so much!

of course! As long as you don't resell them!

I don't regularly do commissions and such, however, I'd be willing to discuss this further. My discord username is bigmanjd.

I've used Resurrect 64 for each of my pixel art packs so far, for continuity's sake. https://lospec.com/palette-list/resurrect-64. Let me know if you ever publish that project! I'd love to see the pack in action!

yes!

Thank you so much!

beautiful story. heart wrenching. didnt understand the "jamming out" gameplay but still funny and fun to play.

Amazing!
