Starscribed, which is currently still in development, is your standard game with progression tied to the narrative. In here we have a none canon mode where you can just have at it with the core combat system that both game shares. Due to the learning curve, I've included the first chapter of Starscribed to double as a slow-paced tutorial, because why not?

This actually improves the performance of MV, at least for me.

I am very flattered that you'd like to try the system out. As of now, I have no such intentions as it is heading to be a licensed release. Many of the features can be created with community plugins and some clever use of the editor. I am more than happy to answer any questions on those parts.

You can avoid getting your shield broken by defending.

There are also no chance based evasion in this game.

There is a way to counter all of the enemy's moves in this game, read up on what your characters can do to achieve that. All of the options are available to the players at any given point of the playthrough.

Welcome to the Starcribed Beta Testing Event

Event Period is from 27th March 2023 till 1st June 2023

In commemoration of the Beta Demo 2nd. A humble competition is currently held for all you lovely people who came here to play my game. The below prizes will be award to those who are able to complete the Rogue Game Mode: Edge of Reality. Placement for prize awarding is based off whoever is the first to upload video footage of the completed run.

All Four Boss Beaten Award (in USD): 

First 5 person to produce a video of you beating all four of the final boss will also be awarded $40 on top of the below categories. A little thanks for the omega lord who have been super helpful with the testing process! For only this category, full run is not required, and edited video is allowed. Only footage of the end bosses are needed.

If video is hosted outside of YouTube, please ensure there is a way for me to verify the upload time and date so I may award accordingly.

The game mode has an autosave feature until a game over. You may safely quit to menu or return to the game as long as you pause your run OUTSIDE of a battle. With that said, you may submit your video as;

Very adorable characters. Been awhile since I played something this lighthearted.

Excellent game feel. Animations are fluid and attacks all feel extremely weighty and satisfying. Weakness system is unique and lends well to a classic rpg formula. Very fun!

Really fun system and concept. Once some progression balance is tweaked I'm gonna have to give this one a deep dive!
