Thank you!

Thoroughly enjoyed this game.

Loved the sound and visual direction. game was just straight up broken, then suddenly after a few minutes it started working. Fortunately I have this on a video, so be prepared for that feedback

Bruh

A very solid game! Only thing that’s like kind of not hitting is the theme, but it does tie in with the wand. I would say this is exactly the kind of game I would spend a lot of time with on my phone.

Very cozy! Super great game, loved the art and story, loved the ui, sound, and music. Would enjoy an entire game about anything else in this art style with the same sort of vibes.

Feels like this could be a really great game if not for the limitation. So even though my feedback is going to be, doesn’t really fit the jam, it seems like an interesting game to play still. Good sounds and music.

Very great game. I have recorded a video of the feedback, but the main thing is, I’m highly impressed and amused. I wish there were more sounds

Really thought this was a strong entry. I of course need some music! but it was still good without. Loved the feedback the crawnch, etc.

Overall pretty great as far as the atmosphere, aesthetic, and UI. The concept is goofy.

Really enjoyed this game. Very solid entry, for controls I had 1 single complaint. The mouse wheel click will also scroll the page unless clicked a second time, but since the swapping of spells was not necessary at all, replacing the swapping function with the dash would work and bring this game closer to full cohesion. Loved the music also.

This is the best game I’ve played today. I recorded excited reactions while playing to make sure you see, my wife and I both had a blast. I describe it in my video as “bro you’re dumb af, and I absolutely love it” this game is so much fun. 5 stars, easy.

I gave you a detailed review in my youtube video, but the main negative feedback is just, it’s not so easy to understand where to use the ice the first level, this game would do better with a tutorial for each of the intro levels showing, this is where you press to make the special effect work, and that’s it. It was really intuitive for the lightning, less intuitive for the ice.

Your game, even with that one critical feedback, was very very good overall. and I enjoyed it a lot.

This is very much the vibe! it should feel like a daily puzzle, but themed. haha. Thank you for playing it.

We both, my wife and I had some feedback for you I can type here. The game felt really nice and polished with a few issues. The main issue was that fall damage feels annoying rather than fun, it was a suggestion, perhaps spikes or death traps instead of just fall damage. The art was fantastic, the gameplay feels great and punchy, and the effect for getting the extra heart is my absolute favorite thing from this game jam so far and I’ve rated about 20 games. It still stays with me. I speak highly in the video, but you can have this text review as well!

REally thought this was clever use of the theme, there was an issue with the capcha minigame, I don’t think it shows the answer you need to make, so that was essentially impossible. I did get better and better at the other minigames which is super and a great feeling.

This game had a great idea, and it suffered from incomplete execution. I would say, just spend a bit more time with mechanics being super gravy before moving on to the next things.

Thank you for this feedback! I like that you’re on the same page. I really would implement some things like, no more than 2 to 3 of those sort of hard letters at any given time or other rules the ‘wizard’ would follow to keep the game more action and less waiting.

I found a very large, like 400k+ english words list, and curated it to not include any bad words. That process took a few days. I use it in word games and have them sorted in various ways. For this game, I simply have a dictionary of all of the words, and reference that. If the word is a key in this dictionary, it is a valid word, and then it’s easy to compare that to length and starting or ending character.

I can share that list with you, if you’d like.

I really thought the game was put together pretty well mechanically, visually, and by way of the atmosphere. I really thought the numbers should have been balanced a bit better. And one good way would be have more constant action by making the weaker enemies worth less mana AND worth less gain. Just increase them overall, and make them easier to deal with, but also not worth as much reward. From there, just balancing, 10 mana per shot, and some monsters take 10 shots, so that’s really tough to manage.

I see no wizard concept, but the game is still great. I would say, try to learn how to implement the auto scrolling features. no reason for this game to have an end other than death.

Thank you for the feedback!

Thanks so much for playing! So sorry the game broke on you, but glad you enjoyed playing it.

I think it was pretty solid overall. I only played a few times and it’s kind of wonky by way of moving to the place the mouse is, but that is the jam limitation. Great work.

It was as well executed as a game could be for a jam, in my opinion. No other game has had the same impact for enjoyment as this game. I recorded the gameplay in your game for a youtube video.

Looked really promising, loved the jokes, and the sounds. I did not like the lack of feedback for successful spell or unsuccessful spell. Played your game in my youtube video as well if you want to see the game being played.

Recorded myself playing and live feedback in a youtube video.

image.png Loved it. Thanks for making it, very interesting use of the mechanic, only had a very minor complaint about the killing the closest enemy vs just seemingly a random one from anywhere. Probably my favorite game.

I loved the concept and thought behind this game, but it’s glaringly obviously missing a lot of things such as resource meters. The things that are there are so, SO good, but the things that are missing bring it down a lot. My feedback in the video I am recording of playing the games is simply, please keep doing this. I would have loved to play this as a more complete experience.

Pretty fun game overall, not a super interesting mechanic, but the game is still great overall.

Had a lot of fun with it, really missed out on the sound effects. I reviewed your game on a video.

It’s a pretty neat system. Didn’t really feel like a game.

Really had a lot of fun with this one. Thanks for making it. I played through your whole game with my wife on a youtube video.

Nearly perfect game in playing. I would say the only single negative I could find was that there’s no way to adjust the sensitivity of the movement. Overall 5/5 perfect game.

Had a good time with it. Solid entry. I gave more detailed feedback on my youtube video.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed playing

Thank you for your feedback. Glad you enjoyed it. I really think with some more polish and redoing the challenge system it could be a nice daily puzzle game.

Thank you for your kind words! Please reach out if you have any trouble with it at all

I really appreciate your feedback! The animations for the player are provided by an asset pack found here on itch! But the animations for everything else and the sfx, audio, and mechanics are from my game kit! Thank you for playing

Thank you 😊
