Same reason that I implemented a loading bar. I want you to struggle mate. Where is the fun in an easy game? But do not worry, a stat-based battle system is already being worked on as we speak. Been waiting for this comment :D

Hi all! I am new to itch.io and just trying to put myself out there!

I wrote a short story years ago and turned it into a videogame for all platforms. I don't want to share too much as it might take away from the game's unique nature, but you basically play as a conqueror who travels the earth in search of beautiful things to destroy. The entire game is text-based but I added a huge chunk of animations just to bring the words to life. This is my first major game. Was terrifying to share, but I hope whoever plays this enjoys at least some part of it. It does contain sensitive content, but nothing too crazy.
