The game seems really interesting, I've only just gotten started (even though I'm a bit of a coward for horror/spooky games) but I'm looking forward to experiencing what it has. I guess the version I saw suggested was an older version so I was under the impression the player would be an undefined, nameless, nobody. Evidently, wrong, but he's listed as "the only playable character". I am kinda curious, is there any chance of other options or a female variant? I just want to set/temper expectations while I'm ahead.

I guess I'm doing something wrong then? I can get changed into a woman but I can't ask to learn magic without it looping until I accept having sex with him.

I adore this game lol. I find it really cute and like the dynamics and options available and have had a lot of fun replaying it and uncovering the story!
The only things I'd like changed is unlocking magic and the random townie sex? It kinda annoys me that it HAS to be the woodsman even though you can gain mana from women. If possible I'd greatly appreciate if there was an option to refuse and say you're not interested in men. Only other thing is it seems like a missed opportunity that there aren't any outside the witch for if you have a fem body but retain your cock
