I think I understand the issue. It happens when you write just the name of the main face in a dual face card. Dual face cards should be written like this:

4 Civilized Scholar // Homicidal Brute

Meaning : <amount><space><face A name><space><double slash><space><face B name>

Cheers! :)

Try inputting this as your collection, they worked for me. You should get a deck with those cards as output:

4 Midnight Arsonist

4 The Brothers' War

4 Shifting Wall

4 Karn, Legacy Reforged

4 Powerstone Shard

4 Welding Jar

4 Candelabra of Tawnos

2 Bone Saw

4 Scale of Chiss-Goria

2 Stonecoil Serpent

4 Midnight Arsonist

4 The Brothers' War

4 Shifting Wall

4 Karn, Legacy Reforged

4 Powerstone Shard

4 Welding Jar

4 Candelabra of Tawnos

2 Bone Saw

4 Scale of Chiss-Goria

2 Stonecoil Serpent

4 Sanctum Weaver

4 Redtooth Vanguard

4 Whip Silk

4 One with the Kami

4 Fire Whip

4 Careful Cultivation

4 Ordeal of Purphoros

4 Fiery Bombardment

4 Armor of Thorns

The input collection actually works fine for me but, as I said, it is very sensitive. Adding a single space in a card's name results in the program crashing. I intend to create a proper and more robust collection importer, but this is the current state of things.

You could try inputting a fraction of your collection, to test it out. If it fails it means a card's name was probably misspelled among those cards so it should be easier to pinpoint it. By inputting only small fractions of your collection at a time you will be able to confirm if the system actually works or if there is another problem. For me at least the input collection works but its extremely sensitive and fragile.

Also, if you have newer cards make sure to press “download latest cards”. That may take a while but it may solve it.

Make sure no white lines are included at the end of the list of the input collection if you have the time, since it’s very sensitive. Im going to replicate your case and see if I can catch the bug.

Got it junkerking! Thank you so much for reporting. Im on it!

Great! Now I can get back to add features to it! Thx for reporting.

I can happily confirm that by following the install instructions the application works on windows :)

I found out gtk was also needed for it to run. I updated the install instructions. No guarantees, but I'm confident enough that I'm re-enabling the download button. I still have to test this properly in a windows machine when I have the time.

sorry for this. I will be removing the download until I get some proper time to fix this.

Issue should be fixed now. Please download again and follow the install instructions. This should fix it.

I tested on my windows machine and it doesn't start. I'll keep looking for the issue.

As I fix this, could you try running the program through the terminal? In windows you just write the path to your executable and hit enter/return. That could work or at least give you some log information about what's going on.

I'm working on this. I don't have a windows machine to test this properly but I'm finding someone who will help me make a proper build. Thanks for your interest. I will ping you when I have a new version of this ;)

If anybody else has this problem please let me know in this thread. Thanks!

Thank you for reporting I’ll look into it. Mac or Windows?

Yeah, this was a mistake. I tried to upload the game I made but something happened and Overlap, which was a game from a past jam, got submitted instead. Nevertheless I'm very glad you liked it!

Did the circle appear all the way to the left? Its an unusual bug that impedes your progress. Should work by restarting the game. Very sorry, but thanks for playing.

Beautiful entry. Too easy to spam the blade throwing and retracting though. Nonetheless had fun and enjoyed the excellent graphics and SFX.

Thanks!

Very satisfying to stack adjacency bonuses together and get insane combos. Specially when at the beginning the game is so hard. Love it.

Excellent. Got stuck at the end in a part where I got an orb with yang and couldn't go back to merge again due to a wall. Had a good time. Great character design.

Nice. Found it hard to wrap my head around ever changing restrictions. Fits the theme perfectly and was a nice challenge.

Really love the graphics. Movement is out of control fast. By returning to the first screen I managed to wall jump out of bounds. I don't know if this was intentional but was very fun, since I found (I think) an alternate route to finish the game.

Music and neon graphics scream fast paced, but movement is slow. Love the aesthetics.

Nice first submission. Excellent music

Nice first entry, and excellent music

Difficult controls, excellent art

Solid game

I really like that moves are cancelled by actions, it allows your program to have different behavior in different circumstances. I can move on then to the next levels. Thanks!

I loved this game. I'm a game programmer myself so I'm a sucker for programming games.

Please give me a hint for level 7, about how to get back up after getting the idol. Or just plainly give me the answer, I'm very curious.
