Thanks for asking!
As you described, the player draws 3 minor arcana each act. They will also draw 3 major arcana each act - one for each prompt (aka, each minor arcana).
During each prompt the player draws 1 minor arcana and 1 major arcana. Thus, you should have 3 major arcana cards (not including the shadow) to shuffle back into the major arcana deck at the end of the act. The minor arcana cards do not need to be shuffled back into the deck, as they will not be used again.
Hope that helps clarify!
I'm so glad you're enjoying it, thank you!
To answer your question, major arcana is correct - putting them back into the deck allows the possibility of drawing the same major arcana cards in the next act. You can actually put the minor arcana aside at the end of the act because you won't be using them anymore. Hope that helps!
Wow!! Thank you so much for the lovely words, I'm glad it could provide some joy during tough times! It certainly means a lot to hear, especially that you enjoy the writing.
Good catch on the banned words! It completely slipped past me...I was so focused on not using the word "blood" that I looked past "life" (a more egregious offence than blood, I'd reckon!). Turns out that game is harder than I thought!

Anamnesis is a solo journaling RPG about self-discovery, reflection, and identity. You play as an individual who has woken up with memory loss. You do not remember who you are, where you are, or what you care about. As you draw tarot cards, you fill the blank spaces of your past and learn more about your present.
Inspirations include The Wretched by Chris Bissette and The Portal at Hill House by Travis Hill and Lindi Farris-Hill.
All that is needed to play is a deck of tarot cards and a journaling method. The game is 10 pages long.
This is the beta version of the game. The text is complete, but I'm raising funds to hire a layout artist. If the crowdfunding is successful, everyone who purchased the beta version will receive the updated version for free.
When the crowdfunding ends (successful or not) I will also add 1 community copy for every person who bought the beta.
Thank you for your support!

Hi all! I've released a rules-light tabletop roleplaying game called The Organ Stays. It's free and you can download it here: https://samleigh.itch.io/the-organ-stays
The Organ Stays is a silly TTRPG about protecting your church’s organ from being destroyed by setting "Home Alone"-style traps.
A game is led by a GM and at least 2 players. It takes approximately 3-6 hours and is composed of 3 Movements:
- Set the Scene - Map out the church, choose the setting, and discuss character relationships.
- Plan and Prepare - Gather materials, lay traps, and strategize.
- Defend the Organ - Fight for the organ. The organ stays.
Hacks are welcomed and encouraged!
Hope everyone is having a happy holiday season.
