This might be the finest piece of art I've ever come across. You might think this is just a silly short game, but there's much more to it than meets the eye. First of all, let's take a look at the characters. Who are they?
There's the main character. The player can see through their eyes; thus, the main character is obviously the player themselves.
The man you're driving with is your mind trying to guide you towards a better future, as he will tell your where to go and what to do while you're completing the actions by yourself. This makes even more sense considering he's DRIVING WITH YOU, so he will guide you while you drive that path as well.
The vampire is a threat to you. It's the thing that stands between you and your purpose in life. After you kill him, you are given all the pieces that enable you to continue your journey, which shows you just how much of a plague your fears are and how easily you can make them disappear, despite being absolutely frightening.
The cat is the supporting character that you can see in the forest and in a picture (a friend or a family member perhaps). They won't say anything so as to let you make your own choices, but they'll be there for you.
So, what's this game about? When you put all the pieces together, it all becomes so clear. This is not a game about your car getting stuck in the middle of the road and you having to take down a vampire. It's a game about overcoming anything that stands in your way to success, a game about how important family is and how The Smiths is one of the greatest bands out there. This game knows what it is and what message it wants to convey, and it wastes no time in its task, just as it is telling you not to waste any time smashing the vampires lurking near you.
Anyway. These have been the best-spent 5 minutes of my life. Everything was perfect from start to finish: the graphics, the music, the gameplay... Maybe the only weakness of this game is not being longer, except it's not because it has filled its purpose and it has now given me the courage to stand up for myself and achieve my dreams. Thank you, Patrocle.
"It's fine" but at the same time you feel the need to express yourself in an agressive way, you want to voice your opinion but you don't want to let others do the same thing? The way you phrased it, that "we're supposed to" do it, does have a forced vibe to it. I never said bisexual people don't exist, and there's a market for that as well. But this isn't real life, it's just a game and games have target audiences. Being upset about there being only a sort of bonus female LI in an otome mainly targeted towards a straight female audience (that potential bisexual players, or merely people who like yuri might enjoy) is kind of like being upset about an open-world game not having enough mini-games within it. Now, I might be wrong, maybe the creator of the game did want to primarily attract a bisexual audience, in which case yes, the game isn't very balanced. But hey, it doesn't seem to be the case here.
So you'd rather force your own quota onto the game's creator to have them make more female LIs against their own will (which would most likely lead to neglected characters) instead of looking for other specific games that willingly focus on female LIs, and then support their creators in order to have more content like that?
