The game is very interesting and most importantly not ordinary. But it seems to me that it would be more convenient for players to have it in steam, where you can get updates very quickly and read news from the developer. It also eliminates the need to constantly go to the itch.io site, which I only visit to play juice galaxy. I always launch and update my games in steam and therefore steam is often launched on PC
