I think the way the music queues worked were great, and though I'd say it's obviously more suspenseful than outright scary, I think you got some good menace in there. Nice work!
I'm going to have to make you an award graphic because this is a top contender for best game of 2020 for me. I laughed so loud and hard that I wept tears of joy and made myself have a coughing fit. My girlfriend had to come make sure I was still alive.
