I would like to know the same thing, if it can affect text somehow this would be perfect for my current project

I return to apologize and say that putting it in an "if" statement did not in fact work and creates weird cutting in/out of the afterimage effect. My bad homie

Hey! You can reach out to my discord account "boogie0308" if you'd like to chat. Also thank you for bringing the broken website link to my attention, I've fixed that now.

Well thank you! I guess I may have to make more assets like these then

I had been considering making a terrain/tiles pack to go with this one, depending on how many people were interested in these assets. I might still do it, unsure really!

probably, just put the function within an "if" statement so the effect only happens if that statement is true

Thank you for your work! This is so unbelievably useful, and your documentation is great. Currently fiddling with TrueState for a solo project and it works wonders.

It's actually not taken, so that's very doable! In a post-jam version of this game I'd like to include rebindable controls, but if not, I will change the keyboard controls to allow for jumping with the up arrow and shooting/dashing with ctrl/alt respectively.

What would you like to see us change about the keyboard controls? What do you think makes sense? We've had a few other testers say the same thing and I'd like to see what possible solutions are. That aside, thank you for the kind words and good feedback!

I can respect wanting to keep the assets available to people even when the original creator took them down, but maybe don't charge for it if it's not original work?

Thank you, and hey no worries man! We only had 10 days to make our games, and you made a game, which is more than most can say

Very nice game! I played it from start to finish and I like the jump mechanic. My only complaint is that near the end of the game you can't really see where you're supposed to go next because the platform is like way higher, so you gotta do a series of like safe-hops to try and find the next floating island before committing to the jump.

I like your game! There's alot of potential post-jam for this idea. Currently there's not a huge variety of upgrades in the game (and that's okay because we only had 10 days to make our games), but image you could store up some coins to buy a harpoon gun, or improve the ship, etc. You could do alot with this project!

Nice game, I respect the ambition to make a horror game in such a short period of time. I dig the atmosphere, good work with that. I did get stuck on level 2 though, I couldn't pick up the radioactive 6-pack plastic thing off the ground so I was just kinda stuck swimming around trying to figure out what to do

I had the same issue in trying to run the game as the user "wapl" below, receiving an error saying "The code execution cannot proceed because UnityPlayer.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem". If I had to guess maybe that's because the .exe was supposed to come with the various other usual unity files? If it gets fixed pls respond to this comment so I can check out your game :)

Neat, would benefit from just a few more levels though. Good job! Also I suggest attaching some images of your game to the page so more people check it out.

Nice simple game, good work. I got three suggestions: first, make sure the sizing of pixels within your sprites remains consistent across the game for a cleaner look. Currently the boat sprite appears to be a higher resolution compared to its surroundings, so it looks a little off. Second suggestion is I would give your levels another pass over to make sure all the tiles connect properly. I attached an image where I circle the examples of tiles that don't connect. Third suggestion is maybe add more sharks to the levels? Right now they don't pose much of a threat, and I think your game would benefit from some more difficulty. But hey regardless, good work!

I like the game! Cool music. I would use a different splash screen image though, you might get in trouble for using an image from Minecraft Legends

Nice simple game, I like it. One thing I'd suggest is making sure the pixel sizing in your sprites line up in the final product, as inconsistent pixel sizing can make things look off. Also I highly recommend putting some images on your game page, would def help get some more people playing it! But anyway, good work

thank you thank you! we tried our absolute hardest to make this feel polished, but we did cut it close, we finished w like 5 hours to spare
