please god help me this walking glitch is so annoying

i wasnt sure whether it was just me to the game had been updated but im running really slow. if i get a fetch quest at the other half of the store i am totally fucked and wont have enough time.
i thought it was oddly hard so i checked some videos online and there run speed is double mine.
is this a bug or on purpose and how can i fix it?
