and the awsere is simple, if you use Itch.IO app, (i dont use app so i don't know) but if you download from website, extract and be done i do know how, the saves don't have file extentions but they are named: characterProfile_# <number here) In {ATLYSS_Data} theres {profileCollections} copy everything from that folder copy to a new folder in Documents named ATLYSS Saves, from there, when the new update comes out take everything in the saves folder you made and go to the same directory and overwrite the stuff in there if you have any questions see me on my discord -----> https://discord.com/channels/1255996047210057799/1255996047210057802

I started this game about, maybe a month ago and finished it in 5 days, If this "update" has game-play change, changed characters, and UI updates = your saves could be invalid, BUT, if its just some visual and story update, then your save should be just fine (I AM NOT A DEV, its just a theory)
