I hope you're able to find a solution to this bug soon. I've tried the fixes you mentioned but can't seem to get them to work, the game displays a black screen and plays music. I don't get any feedback sounds (like opening menus or being prompted to make a choice), so I'm unable to know if I'm near the bed, or walked through a door.

I have enjoyed what I've played so far :D
