Veggie Combat!

Love the concept! There is a lot of potential here. Nicely done!

Played this with my wife last night. Had a good chuckle when we realised our head was literally the weapon!

Love the concept, nice work!

Glad you had fun! Thank you to playing!

thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!
I messed up the sensitivity settings (I was testing on a macbook). We're planning on adding some kind of end conditions and goals to the game in the future (as well as a sensitivity settings menu :P )

We had tons of fun making it, glad you enjoyed it!

thanks for playing, we'll be working on some improvements/fixes after the jam ;)

After this first launch, we're all hyped up to polish the game in order to make it easier to play and increase the number of fun moments, like the launching of a firetruck into the air!

Thank you for playing!

Thanks for playing, we all had tons of fun making it!

First off, thank you for playing our game! We had a lot of fun making it!

Currently, there is no end condition, so the only way to restart is to reload like you said.

We've got some bug-fixes in the pipelines that address the camera issue (among others). We also will be improving the UI (menus, scoring, and some new mechanics too) which will allow players to play many rounds instead of having to reset completely. Finally, we've been brainstorming some quests/goals to add to the game to make it more of a challenge and less a sandbox.

Stay tuned!

P.S. The update will probably have to wait until after the 48+8 Jam ends in order to be fair with other contestants.

(1 edit)

Thank you for hosting this jam. We had lots of fun.

Unsurprisingly :D , we (and the community!) have discovered bugs and issues with our game.

  1.  In what circumstances are we allowed to update the released game? (do we have to wait 15 days, can we release a separate version, are bugfixes allowed etc.)
  2. Is updating the description allowed? (We would like to add a FAQ section and extra instructions)

Edit: this is my first game jam

Very fun game, the concept of using your enemies as a weapon is great. I love using my enemies bones as a flail to make more weapons. The music brought me back to the gameboy days. And you gotta remember this was done in 2 days!

thank you so much for your time! It is greatly appreciated :D

I can't get it to run on macOS Catalina
"The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information."

Could this because the game is compiled in 32bit instead of 64bit?
