it seriously sucks that this game is getting hate over a single image on Twitter. And now people are assuming the worst out of it for no good reason.

I kind of like the core idea of using outfits as a means to spice up the gameplay, it'll probably be quite cool if this aspect is expanded upon since it seems to be sort of the selling point of this game (Maybe make the costumes act as different alternative progressions to other areas, making replayability more diverse).
What I like about this so far is how the tone, in spite of being a NSFW game based on a popular IP, has a rather grounded consistent tone that imo, sort of acts as a mature variant of the games of its source material, with its main example being Professor Junipers dialogue treating the MC more like a young adult worker who also enjoys some casual talk rather than a young kid planning on going on an adventure, which I enjoy a lot as it creates a nice change of pace of not just NSFW games I played but also Pokemon as a whole.
I also like the rather calm direction of its narrative as well, in comparison to other similar games where it was rather cheesy and at times a bit questionable as a means to get straight to the NSFW content, whereas here there is a sense io buildup to the general idea of its region and its world by what the game sort of has as of the very first updates amount of content thus far.
Pretty good work.
Man, I really feel bad for Rask, even if he is a bit disconnected to how people act outside of his own community & how people seem to treat him like an invisible respect man. The way he gets touched without consent and is bullied into being a friend really irks me the wrong way, and it makes me want Jayce to be called out of his behavior at some point.
Then again I'm early in this point of the game so maybe I am assuming too much.
Not to say its bad writing, just that I hope for something around the narrative for Rask, or something like that.
I really enjoy Jorgen, I felt like his observing personality, and design kind of helps him stand out in the cast, and I felt like that moment near the end kind of hit me personally for different reasons (Which I like)
Quick question though since I am new to this game, is he connected to the Lake route throughout the game or just at the start before his path gets more disconnected to Lake?
If you don't want to spoil it, thats fine! :)
Hope this gets better!
