You don't need to open it yet. The book is the library. Go in at night and go near and interact with the fire place. Then BOOM. Secret basement.  The guide is pretty helpful, if you haven't been using it I highly recommend it

I clicked on the crafting guide in the inventory and my game crashed. Now my computer is running like a potato and the game just has a black screen but I can select options. Even after a restart and deleting and reinstalling the game it still wont work

I think it's because that file is from a year ago my guy 

You go into inventory in key items and clikc on it

I normally listen to music while playing this game, and I realized that Sabaton's The Last Stand goes really well with the local town music. It just seems like an interesting thing to mention considering Sabaton is a metel band and that song is about the Swiss Guard(The pope's bodyguard.)

There's only 2 cut scenes right? The one with Mary and Evelyn. Then Akane and Haru. The ladder is pretty good but the former uses just a shadow for the male character. Or am I missing something?
