yeah ik, i wanted to have some kind of cutscene but i didnt have time in the end. as for the story, it was just an excuse for my terrible own pixel art not matching the tile assets i downloaded from opengameart

yeah lol idk why i didnt think of that, i def had time but for some reason it never occured to me to make more levels

cool game! some feedback:

the gun isnt centered on the player which makes aiming feel off and difficult

the shooting doesnt feel rewarding, try adding some vfx, sound etc

the game feels slow

other than that great and polished game!

the vfx are cool, but the sprites dont really match.

the sound fx are awesome and so is the music! maybe add some simple music cduring the gameplay

the gameplay is great and superr addicting, keeps me coming back for more and wanting to play again

yeah, i was planning on extending the map and adding ghosts you could "charm" with the right dialog options to give you hints as to where the charms are or get extra time but i didnt end up doing that
