Thought this game was just a joke submission at first, but I was pleasantly surprised! Really great job with this one. It fits the theme perfectly, looks good, and plays really well. Love it!

Seemed extremely short as it says I survived with only 2 inputs? The text scrolling was very polished and the color scheme looked good though.

Fun game that fits the theme really well! It would be nice if you had varied the opponents model and voice for a little variety. Also, I found a bug where if you play in windowed mode that you can look up, but you can never look back down towards your cards again. Aside from that, this was really well executed within this jam. Great job!

Great concept that fits the game jam theme perfectly! Well executed!

Impressive that you were able to put this together during the jam! I think it fits the theme really well. I really like the UI and the game art as well. I think you have a really fun and unique concept on your hands with this game. My only suggestions are to smooth the camera movement when rotating the character and to check the collision detection a bit as I had some sheep going beneath the terrain near a hill/mountain. Aside from those minor things, really great job on your first jam! :)

Fun game! Paced very well, and I like the inclusion of a tutorial level. I also really like the camera and lighting around the player as it draws you in and make the whole game more suspenseful.

My only suggestion is maybe zoom the camera out a bit more as I found myself shooting at enemies that were off the screen quite frequently. However, I do like the inclusion of the indicators around the player as that greatly helps with this and conveys where the items and enemies are roughly located.

Great job! :)

Thanks! I appreciate the play and feedback! :)

I agree that the pacing is a bit slow.  I actually tried to up the speed before submission, but it broke everything. I just abandoned that idea as I didn't have enough time to get everything working correctly. I'll take more time during my next jam to get the pacing right from the start.

Thanks for the play and feedback! It was a good learning experience, and I agree with everything that you said. The pacing is a bit off and it needs a lot more content. I was just happy that I had something to submit. Congrats on your first jam too! I'll make sure to check out your game as well.

Thanks for the play and honest feedback! I didn't realize it was either of those as you can avoid and run past most of the enemies. If you try to kill everything, I can definitely see where you are coming from. It's my first game jam, so I'll keep this in mind for the next one.

I would have loved to add more enemy variety, sprite animation, and varied AI especially for the Boss fight. However being my first game jam, I simply ran out of time. I learned a lot on this project though, so that should help me better manage my time in the future.

Thanks! It's my first game jam, so I'm just glad I was able to submit something that was actually somewhat playable.

Thanks for the play and feedback! A tutorial would be a good add, but I ran out of time unfortunately. I added the controls to the main menu screen, but that doesn't help if you need an in-game reference.

I'll make sure to check your game out too.

Nice job! I really like the art work and the tater gun mechanic. Boil Em, Mash Em, Shoot them out of a tater gun at a potato crazy priest. I do wish there was more stuff to shoot with taters though.
