Absolutely phenomenal. My only complaint is that this may not receive the attention to turn this into a complete and polished game! I

I agree. The map was a challenging game point because we ran out of time to come up with a solution. With idea of the game was to have to fight your way through the enemies and 'lose ground' against them when you go back for upgrades, but we didn't have time to come up with and implement a good solution for the start where there is just nothing.
I love the idea. Personal taste for these games is to start with slightly higher movement speed. Felt really easy to get bullied off of my anvil so if you continue developing this, maybe there is a way you can work on that. Otherwise, I think this is a great game idea and would love to see it continued.
